A plush toy in the style of something Alice Liddel (the original 'Alice' from "Alice in Wonderland") might have purchased had I, American McGee, run a toy shop in Victorian London. Probably right next door to Mrs. Lovett's meat pie shop.

Once upon an unbirthday morning, the March Hare blinked awake, not from sleep but from a very long and caffeinated denial of it. He did not rise with grace. He lurched with purpose. With a bird’s nest tangled on his head and a tea cup larger than his sense of stability, he stumbled from the barn to the breakfast table where time had already given up.

Dressed in his finest not-for-public pajamas and an oh-so-dignified house coat, he arrives fashionably early to a party no one remembers inviting him to. His eyes - those little black buttons of inside-out madness - know secrets. Mostly about moon phases and when the toast will burn.

Atop his head sits a deeply unimpressed bird companion who perches like judgment itself. Detachable, of course. No one can handle that kind of honesty all day.

And just over his stitched heart lies the alchemical mark of March. Mars, if you're nasty. War, willpower, and wild-eyed wisdom sewn into the very thread of his being.

Perfect for those who never really wake up but put on a very convincing show.
